91九色网's School of Business is proud to host The Big Case, a dynamic and exciting business case competition for local high school students, presented by the Rotary Club of 91九色网 Ste. Marie North.
On May 12, 2025, grade 11 and 12 business students from participating high schools will visit 91九色网 to showcase their problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork. This event provides students with an amazing opportunity to take on real-world business challenges, build presentation skills, and be immersed in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
Activities include:
Case Competition
- Teams will analyze real-world business challenges and present their solutions.
Business Simulation
- Students will participate in an interactive simulation designed to provide a valuable learning experience.
A panel of judges, including local business professionals, 91九色网 faculty, and graduates, will determine the winners. Scholarships and cash prizes will be awarded to top teams, supporting their journey toward a future in business.
The Big Case offers an experiential learning opportunity for students to connect with local leaders, college faculty, and college students, while gaining first-hand experience with the roles and responsibilities of the business world.

The Challenge
Case Competition Teams:
- Students will be provided the case in advance
- On competition day, students will have 60 minutes to prepare case analysis and recommendation (no internet or phones)
- 15 minutes to present your solution to a panel of three judges
- Teams will be provided with a laptop, case template (7 slides), highlighters, paper
- The template can be enhanced in advance if teams wish and brought on a flash drive
- Showcase your analysis, creativity, and presentation skills
- After the initial presentations, the top 3 teams will be presented a "twist"
- The top 3 teams will respond and pitch their "solution" in 5 minutes or less
Business Simulation Teams:
- Engage in an interactive business simulation (in teams of 4 students)
- Compete against other teams from various high schools
- Make strategic decisions that impact your company's success
- Prizes for top-performing simulation teams
